Your schedule disappears after 30 days
AlignHour is built to collect as little as possible and to forget it quickly.
What we store
- The schedule title, optional note, time zone and proposed time slots the organizer enters.
- For each participant: the name they type and the slots they select.
- A random secret key (stored only as a one-way hash) so the organizer can delete the schedule and participants can edit their own answers.
We never ask for email addresses, phone numbers or accounts, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a small local record (localStorage) so it remembers the schedules you created or answered.
Automatic deletion after 30 days
Every schedule and every response in it are permanently deleted 30 days after the schedule is created. After that the link stops working. The organizer can delete everything sooner from the schedule page, using the browser that created it.
Abuse protection
To keep the free service available, we limit how many requests one network address can make. Addresses are stored only as salted one-way hashes for up to 30 minutes and are never linked to schedules.
